Yeah, I'm sorry I haven't posted in 13 years. Kinda slipped my mind. You know, I'm a busy guy, doing all that Supreme Court stuff. Yeah, I bet tons of my followers missed this blog. Just look at how many followers I have in the sidebar!
We heard a really important case today. It's called Plessy v. Ferguson. It's about segregation of races, and whether or not it's constitutional. I say, according to the 13th and 14th Amendments, it isn't, but before I explain why, you should know more about the case. Louisiana made a law, the Separate Car Act, that made trains within the state segregated. However, a bunch of people formed a committee, and pooled some money to test the constitutionality of this act. They chose Homer Plessy to do it, and now here we are.
I think it's unconstitutional because you're forcing someone to sit in a specific seat on a train! And only because the racism of white people. Obviously, blacks are going to be treated worse. Oh well, I suppose there's nothing I can do but…sigh…dissent again. Maybe I can actually make a difference!
Oh how naïve I am.
